I am a freelance travel writer, journalist, and editor, committed to providing inspirational editorial. I have written for National Geographic Traveller, JRNY Magazine, World of Cruising, Caribbean World and more. I am publisher and editor of online travel and lifestyle magazine LiveShareTravel, author of The Luxury Traveller’s Handbook, and write for a number of travel publications.
My awards for travel writing include Caribbean Tourism Organisation for Blog Post of the Year, and the Inspire Global Media Award 2026 for Consumer Feature of the Year (Caribbean).
With the growth of online travel media and the impact of LiveShareTravel, I co-founded award-winning digital influencer network, Captivate, working with the travel media to conceptualise and deliver creative influencer campaigns and creative projects such as the Graz Uncovered app.
My early career was spent working across a wide range of national and regional media including Teletext, and that’s life magazine until I was bitten by the travel bug. Since then I have travelled far and wide, and combined my passion for travel with my work, including as managing editor of RCI Holiday and Ventures magazines.
I’m a keen photographer, with an eye for an engaging shot, and very experienced in producing video and social media travel content.
In addition to writing destination features, I am experienced in business and B2B travel journalism and undertake editorial projects, social media consultancy, and marketing projects.
I am a member and former vice chair of the British Guild of Travel Writers.
